What you will do:

  • As InHealth's Social Value Champion, you will champion InHealth's social value agenda, engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to develop and drive forward our action plans, ensuring we fully deliver on our commitments across equality, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, mental health and social mobility. You'll need to stay in touch with any new initiatives and ideas that we can consider implementing, with the ultimate aim of being a responsible employer that cares for our colleagues and dedicates time and space to social values.

What you are responsible for:

  • Engaging with and inspiring key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Driving our ED&I agenda, working with our dedicated forum to deliver on our action plan
  • Playing an active role in the Wellbeing Steering Group, working with our Chief Medical Officer to seek out, explore and implement wellbeing initiatives across the group
  • Collaboratively developing project plans with SMART objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes are agreed
  • Continuously monitoring progress against objectives
  • Delivering on defined outcomes and communicating these successes internally and externally
  • Building a portfolio of case studies and success stories
  • Proactively identifying and managing any risks, escalating as appropriate
  • Keeping abreast of external trends, ensuring InHealth remains at the forefront, delivering innovative solutions to progress the social value agenda.

  • Good at working under pressure and is calm in challenging situations
  • Inspiring to others

  • A great communicator at all levels, able to develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Able to translate and develop strategy and policy into real-life plans that meet our corporate objectives
  • Genuine in their passion about equality, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and social values
  • Engaging and able to advocate and garner support
  • Uncompromising on high quality standards
  • Confident, independent and a problem solver
  • Skilled at project management, or willing to learn
  • A really good communication with excellent written, verbal and listening skills
  • Passionate about healthcare and the wider impact an organisation has on society.

You should apply if you have experience of:

  • ED&I and social value themes as part of your own learning or more formal roles and training
  • Managing multiple projects under pressure
  • Working with stakeholders at different levels and in different areas of the organisation
  • Project management (advantageous but not essential).
